SFDA and seven other departments jointly inspect the special rectification on production and distribution of stimulants

To further promote the implementation of the nationwide special rectification on production and distribution of stimulants and substantially guarantee the effect of the rectification, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Information Industry, the Ministry of Health, the General Administration of Customs, the State Administration for Industry & Commerce, the General Administration of Sport and the Organizing Committee of the Beijing Olympic Games (BOCOG) decided to jointly inspect the progress on the special rectification on production and distribution of stimulants according to the requirements of the Notice on the Special Rectification on Production and Distribution of Stimulants.
The eight departments will supervise: the implementation of the special rectification in different provinces (regions and municipalities), the inspection of production, distribution and usage of anabolic agents and peptide hormones, the investigation and inspection of chemical enterprises that illegally produce and distribute anabolic agents and peptide hormones, the investigation and prosecution of websites that illegally disseminate and sell anabolic agents and peptide hormones, the investigation and prosecution of relevant law cases, the publicity and training of the special rectification on production and distribution of stimulants.
