The State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) approved the registration application of Sinovac's Inactivated H1N1 Influenza Vaccine (Split Virion) on September 2, 2009.

The results of preliminary clinical trail conducted by Sinovac show that the vaccine is safe. The approved specifications include 30μg/1.0ml (vial), 15μg/0.5ml (vial) and 15μg/0.5ml (pre-filled syringe).

The vaccine could safely be given to people aged from 3 to 60 years old for vaccination.
