SFDA makes emergency measures to meet the demand for anti-tetanus biological products of the disaster stricken areas



The State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) adjusted the procedures for the lot release of blood products and vaccines needed for the earthquake relief according to legal procedures for the sake of giving priority to arranging lot release of these medicines under the premise of ensuring product quality. Except for human tetanus immunoglobulin needed at present, the lot release of necessary albumin prepared from human plasma, epidemic encephalitis B vaccine, and hepatitis A vaccine, etc., will also follow the adjusted procedures to meet the demand of the disaster stricken areas.
