To specify relevant issues for medical device producers to apply for the cancellation of medical device registration certificate, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) formulated Procedure for Applying for Cancellation of Medical Device Registration Certificate. The Procedure which was issued on October 22, 2007 took effect on the date of issue.

Procedure for Applying for Cancellation of Medical Device Registration Certificate specified the scope of acceptance, charge policy, handling conditions, requirements on application materials and handling procedures.
