The 2007 Pharmaceutical Intellectual Property Rights Forum was held in Beijing on October 23 and 24, 2007. Under the theme of "strengthening pharmaceutical IPR protection and improving technical innovation in pharmaceutical industry", representatives from the related departments of the government, China and foreign pharmaceutical enterprises, R&D institutions and academic organizations discussed the topics on protection of pharmaceutical intellectual property rights, strategies for enterprise development, risk management of intellectual property rights and so on. The forum got positive results. SFDA Deputy Commissioner Wu Zhen attended the closing ceremony of the forum and gave a speech.
