SFDA issues Guideline for National Food Safety Publicizing Education (2006-2010)



In order to further popularize food safety knowledge, create a favourable social atmosphere in which the public cares about, supports, and takes part in food safety, and to enhance food safety, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) develops the Guideline for National Food Safety Publicizing Education (2006-2010) after considering comments from the Publicity Department of CCCPC, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Health, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and quarantine, the State Council Information Office, the National Office of Rectification and Standardization of Market Economic Order, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League.

The Guideline points out the guiding ideology, work objectives and major tasks of national food safety publicizing education, defines key targets and publicizing content, and specifies working principles as well as implementation and guarantee measures.
