SFDA and other related organizations issue requirements for using narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs in detoxification



The State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Health issued on May 31, 2006 a joint notice that governs the application and purchase of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs used in detoxification and the management of methadone oral solutions used in maintenance therapy. The Notice stressed that the new requirements shall prevail where previous requirements contradict with it.
