The State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) issued a notice on May 10, 2006 regarding the implementation of GB 9706.1-1995 governing the registration of medical electrical equipment. GB 9706.1-1995 is a set of national standards of the general requirements for the safety of medical electrical equipment.
