SFDA Special Procedures for Drug Approval (SFDA Order No. 21) was issued on November 18, 2005 and took effect as of the promulgation date.

The Procedures stipulate application acceptance & field checks, registration tests, technical review, clinical trials, approval and monitoring of drug manufacturing, etc.
