SFDA starts a special inspection of the production of vaccines

From July 12, 2005, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) started a special inspection of the production of vaccines by sending six inspection teams to 27 vaccine manufacturers to conduct follow-up GMP inspection.

The inspection is to check the basic conditions of rabies vaccine manufacturing, the compliance of required vaccine manufacturing techniques, management of bank of bacterial and viral strains for manufacturing vaccines, quality management of vaccine production and implementation of GMP, and whether sales channels are in line with Regulations on Management of Vaccine Circulation and Inoculation.
