According to the 2004 national drug sampling and testing plan, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) organized supervisory sampling and testing in 17 specialized markets for Chinese crude drugs. The results were released in the National Drug Quality Announcement for the fourth quarter of 2004.

SFDA will continue to intensify its supervision of specialized markets for Chinese crude drugs, gradually widen the scope of sampling and testing and regularly publish the results.
