The Sixth National Ear Care Day will be launched on March 3, 2005, jointly initiated by China Disabled Persons' Federation, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the National Population and Family Planning Commission, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the State Food and Drug Administration, the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League, All China Women's Federation, China Senior Citizens Association and the China Welfare Fund for the Handicapped. This year's campaign is focused on "the care given to senior citizens by the whole society: good hearing and happy life".
