(Secretariat of Office of Food Safety Commission of State Council)
(1) organize and study major policies of food and drug safety supervision, implement food and drug safety situation analysis, and compile annual development report on food and drug safety; (2) organize and implement major subject study in food and drug supervision, coordinate in driving and improving food and drug supervision system and mechanism; (3) organize and implement assessment of food safety supervision implementation by relevant departments and provincial government, organize and implement assessment of drug supervision implementation by provincial food and drug supervision department, and implement subject trainings on leadership of local government; (4) undertake routine work of office of the food safety committee of the state council, and responsible for organizing and preparing relevant meetings with food safety committee of the state council; (5) undertake comprehensive coordination work of food safety supervision, and promote improvement of interdepartmental and inter-regional food safety work coordination and interaction mechanism; (6) organize and draft comprehensive documents and important meeting documents on food and drug supervision; (7) undertake routine work of expert committee of food safety committee of the state council, and implement major decision expert consultation system of food and drug supervision; (8) undertake work of statistics office of general administration; (9) undertake other matters assigned by general administration.
