In order to ensure drug safety for the public, from February 2012, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) carried out the special operation on strengthening the supervision of drug information service and drug selling over Internet, stringently cracking down on releasing false drug information and selling drugs illegally over the Internet. Throughout the passed year, local drug regulatory authorities carried out the SFDA’s overall deployment and worked actively. The special operation has achieved notable results.
