In order to strengthen the supervision and management of health food and cosmetics, standardize the administrative law enforcement on health food and cosmetics supervision, the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) formulated the Document Standard for Administrative Law Enforcement on Health Food and Cosmetics Supervision (interim) in accordance with the Administrative Penalty Law, the Food Safety Law, the Regulations Concerning the Hygiene Supervision over Cosmetics and relevant laws and regulations. The Document Standard was issued recently and will go into force as of January 1, 2012.
