Head of CFDA's Department of International Cooperation meets with Minister of Japanese Embassy in China

On July 19, 2017, Head of department of international cooperation of the China Food and Drug Administration(CFDA) met with visiting Japanese embassy minister HAYASHI Teiji and his party.The both sides reviewed the past three years, from CFDA, the Japanese Embassy in China,Ministry of Health,Labour,and Welfare(MHLW),Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Agency,and other aspects,in the field of Sino-Japanese food,drug and medical equipment supervision, to strengthen exchanges and carry out fruitful exchanges and cooperation.The both sides held talks on the upcoming activities arrangements for the Sino-Japanese exchange of drugs and medical devices in Beijing.During the meeting, Minister HAYASHI Teiji praised the CFDA to join the Management Committee of the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH). He believes that China's accession to the ICH, will promote the world's regulatory cooperation in the field of drugs and further deepen the coordination of laws and regulations.
