CFDA Vice Minister Wu Zhen meets the delegation from the World Health Organization

On the morning of April 10, 2017, Wu Zhen, Vice Minister of China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA), met with the delegation led by Dr. Bernhard Schwartlander, the World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in China, Ms. Emer Cooke, the Head of Regulation of Medicines and other Health Technologies with the WHO, and Mr. Murray Lumpkin, the Head of Global Regulatory Affairs Department of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Both sides exchanged opinions on the reform of drug evaluation and approval system, the reform of drug regulatory system, and the enhancement and assessment of drug regulatory capability. Main directors of CFDA's Department of International Cooperation, Department of Drug and Cosmetics Supervision, Center for Drug Reevaluation, and relevant directors of CFDA's Center for Food and Drug Inspection attended the meeting.
